Profile
Raised in Texas, Tracy moved to Asheville in 1992 shortly after graduating from Baylor University. Before becoming a broker with Preferred Properties, she worked as a fund-raising and marketing professional for several large non-profits, including United Way and the YMCA -- experiences which helped her refine her customer service, sales and communication skills. Although she has changed professions, Tracy continues to be involved, and volunteers regularly with several local nonprofits. She volunteered for many years with her children’s elementary school, reading with kids and starting the school's outreach program to low-income families. Additionally, she has been a board member of several community organizations, including the Junior League of Asheville and the Verner Center for Early Learning. Currently she is on the board of the Children’s Well-Being League, which serves high school students in Asheville and Buncombe County, and is the president of the Asheville High Booster Club which supports the school’s student athletes and athletic department.
Tracy and her husband have resided in North Asheville for over 30 years. Her kids have attended both public and private schools in the area, and have had great experiences at both. She has bought and sold several homes, including rentals, as well as gone through the building process on her current residence. Her years of living, working and volunteering in Asheville make her a great resource for those looking to buy and sell real estate in the area. She has been a top producer at Preferred Properties and was most recently named the firm’s Top Buyer’s Agent for 2024. Additionally she is a "Top 100" producer in the Asheville area.
